It’s the day of an election. Maybe the most divisive election of our time. And before we know the results, I have a few things I want to say.

First and foremost, we can NEVER have another election year like this, EVER again! As if the last four years haven’t been bad enough, the corporate media along with their government cronies and big tech buddies, have used this election year to turn the world upside down. I know I am not alone in believing the world we are currently living in is something out of Orwell’s 1984 dystopian nightmare.

The amount of doublespeak and propaganda that is spewed on a daily basis is shocking and alarming. Even more alarming, the amount of us who seemingly have no idea we are being completely played. Played by a system that has teamed up against us. A system that thrives on our ignorance. A system that aims to keep us in fear, keep us divided and most importantly, keep us in-line. The more we hate and fear each other, the easier they maintain and grow their power.

Politics weren’t meant to be a religion. Our “political party” shouldn’t require our unwavering and unquestioning devotion. If ignorance is defined as a lack of knowledge or information, telling us to “vote blue no matter who” or the encouragement of any type of straight party vote, is a direct instruction for our continued ignorance. And what does ignorance breed? Hate, anger, fear and intolerance. And let’s not forget, dependence. These political parties expect us to worship them and follow them like we owe our lives to them. It’s the “red religion” vs the “blue religion” except there is no salvation in the end and the only doctrine that matters is the “other side” is evil.

And when we begin to believe the “other side” is evil and “our side” is righteous, we lose our ability to think critically and impartially. And we begin to participate in a form of modern-day tribalism that leads to an us -v- them mentality. I know plenty of people who truly fear for their lives based on the results of the elections. Whether those fears are rational or not, they are still real feelings. And terrible feelings to have at that.

But what we all seem to be forgetting is, the size of our government was never meant to be this big. The executive branch was never meant to have this much power. No one should have to fear for their lives based on who is in office. That’s why we have a constitution with check and balances. But our current two-party system, controlled by two private corporations (RNC & DNC), has done everything it can to grow that power, regardless of who is in office. Because at the end of the day, the RNC & DNC are simply two wings attached to the same demonic bird.

And that brings us to one of my favorite topics, the two-party system. The two-party system is a purposefully flawed system. It was created to cause division, to discourage voter participation, and make it easier to win reelection. And we can see this playing out today. A record amount of people believe our country is more divided today than ever before. One poll I saw had almost 80% of people feeling this way. Also consider every election, around a hundred million eligible voters, don’t vote. Why? A recent study found most simply don’t believe in the system or feel their vote really mattered. And maybe it doesn’t, because once in office, 98% of incumbents are re-elected. Is the two-party system really working for us, or is it working against us?

I am no fan of the two-party system. If you have read any of my previous posts, this should be obvious by now. I have watched it interfere with our elections and limit our choices for too long. The two-party system will never get a vote from me, ever again! The idealistic idea of the two-party system is one where the two sides work together. Where they bounce ideas off each other and try to find the right solution that works in the best interest of the American people.

And in an idealistic world, this might actually work. What we have created however is a system full of people who have been in office longer than my lifetime and who have consistently worked against the American people to further their agendas and grow their power. Let’s not also forget to mention, when they finally do leave office, they are millions of dollars wealthier. The two-party system is broken. And it cannot be saved. It’s not meant to be saved. The system is only broken to us, for them, its thriving. And unfortunately, we have voted them in and they make the rules.

And this leads me into my next point. Did you know there are roughly 22 lobbyists for every member of congress? Every member. That means every member of congress could have personally up to 22 people offering them gifts and lavish trips and endless amount of money. More of us need to start asking just who these lobbyists are, where their funding is coming from, and what exactly do they want from our elected representatives in return? Because the sad truth is, these “lobbyists” have written more laws and dictated more policy than any elected official. And the corporations employing them have become dependent on it. They want to keep their “friendly” politicians in office. Makes having them do their bidding much easier.

And insert, corporate owned media. Last I checked, about 15 billionaires and 6-8 corporations owned most of the media. They are the ones who bring you the “news”. They decide what’s worthy of reporting and what’s true and what’s false. Sometimes calling the same thing true and false at the same time, just on different outlets. They thrive on chaos. The amount of catastrophizing that goes on in the media is enough to drive anyone crazy. They love to play on our fears and our insecurities. It’s the best thing they have to get us to tune into their propaganda networks. If they keep us afraid and angry, they keep us tuned in. And the amount of misleading and click bait headlines they throw at us on a daily basis should make this obvious to anyone willing to step outside their “bubble”.

And for a long time, they have pulled our strings and manipulated us from the shadows. Until recently. Until, Trump. For as much as I can’t stand his antics, just his presence has brought their collusion to light. Forced them to show their hand. I’ve seen the media cover for political parties since they wanted to pretend Ron Paul didn’t exist in the 2012 election. Then in 2016 I watched the entire DNC convention on CNN, only to go to Twitter and see they purposefully forgot to show the large crowds of people who walked out in protest. Then in 2020 once again, the media teams up to destroy another non-interventionist, Tulsi Gabbard, cohesively working together to sell a story that she was some Russian spy for Trump? Like, GTFOH if you bought that stupid shit.

And it has just gotten worse from there. Corporate media has completely thrown themselves against Trump and behind the democrat party. And I am not just talking about MSNBC or CNN. They have all lost their damn minds and any shred of credibility they once had. This year in particular has been just a vile spewing gush of propaganda and deception, all directed to get us to do one thing.. hate Donald Trump. Every headline, article, talking point, they are all written to sway our opinions, to manipulate our emotions, and to control our votes. And this year, have been used to set a stage. A stage to tell us a story of a divided America. One where we hate and don’t trust each other. One where we can’t even really trust our family. Not if they have a different political ideology anyway. One not approved by our corporate media overlords. In that case, we must view them as our sworn enemies.

And they know, if they repeat something over and over again, we will accept it as true. Because at one point, we trusted them to tell us the truth. We trusted journalist to operate with integrity. To put their biases aside and to report us the facts and leave it up to us to decide how we feel. But that’s not good enough for them anymore. And it all goes back to Trump. These people gave him no shot whatsoever to win in 2016. They were banking on getting someone like Hillary Clinton into office. Someone they already had on their team. Someone who knew how to play their game. Someone who would continue to help them to grow and consolidate their power. But that didn’t happen when Trump won. For everything I can’t stand about Trump, the best thing he has going for him is how much these billionaires and corporations and political dinosaurs seem to hate him. He is the anti-deep state. And I’ll be honest, I did not see that coming in 2016. I thought he would be just another one of their cronies. I was wrong.

If you didn’t think the “deep-state” was real in 2019, I wouldn’t blame you. If you can say today with a straight face that it’s not real, congratulations, you have one tight little bubble you’ve been living in. Ignorance truly is bliss. Because the “deep-state” is real, and is showing itself for the first time. These highly monopolized industries have been calling the shots, they have had all the power. And they have the backing of our government officials, intelligence agencies, news networks (that they own), and have recently added to their weapons arsenal, the power of the tech industry.

Our social media outlets and search engines have gone from being a highway of open information to a one-way construction street with preplanned detours and an ever-expanding list of road closures. Instead of taking a back seat and allowing users to navigate their platforms as we see fit, companies like Goggle, Facebook and Twitter are now actively engaging in thought manipulation and working to frame our beliefs and opinions. And that’s on top of storing and selling all our information and personal data. The internet has become the biggest trojan horse of our time. Inviting the government and corporations to spy on us and collect data on us, and now to manipulate and to control us. Slowly eating away at our rights and our freedoms. All so we can post our selfies and showcase our perfectly fake lives to one another.

These three entities together: the two-party system, corporate owned media, and big tech industries are the biggest perpetrators of election interference that have ever plagued the United States. And their intrusion into our lives is what causes someone like Donald Trump, a perceived political outsider, to be elected. And their failure to control our vote, to get their crony elected and to maintain their perceived power in 2016, has led to four years of torture followed by an election year of utter hell.

I have never seen us more divided. And I blame the media more than anyone. But I also see the two-party system for what it is and have witness first hand the way social media and search engines treat stories that benefit them from stories that don’t. I don’t care what your personal beliefs are, what the media and big tech just did to the NY Post should terrify you. Because if they can control the narrative like that, if they can silence dissenting voices and opinions and facts they disagree with, we no longer have a 1st Amendment and a free press. And if we lose that, we lose EVERYTHING!!

I have been waiting for this election to be over all year. It has truly been exhausting. And has caused me untold of amounts of anxiety. I can’t stand to see the manipulation. I can’t stand to witness the propaganda. I am so tired of seeing people I respect in all other aspects of life, totally lose their minds over this election and buy into the nonsense. Because what I so desperately want to tell them is, this is not an election between Republicans and Democrats. It’s an election between Donald Trump and the Deep State. And SPOILER ALERT…we all lose!!
